Tim and Dana co-own the stallion The Ultimate Fancy with Lary and Cyndy
Cowart of Winchester, Kentucky. The Ultimate Fancy is a double registered
sorrel overo sired by Mr Fancy Bonanza and out of Sweet Celebration, who is
one of APHA’s leading dams. The farm focuses on pleasure prospects,
and one of The Ultimate Fancy’s foals will be shown at this year’s World
Show in Junior Western Pleasure. He has already produced foals that
have placed in the top 10 at the World Show.
Both Tim and Dana work on the farm full time, and their children, Kyle and
Brittni, help out part time. Brittni, a senior at Fleming County High
School, is in charge of halter breaking the farm’s weanlings.
“Tim specializes in snaffle bit pleasure prospects,” Dana says. “We have
been blessed with great customers.”
Even though part of the Crager’s operation involves training, they still
show.
“Brittni and Kyle were raised showing horses,” Dana says. “We still show
from April through October.”
The Cragers are members of both the Kentucky Paint Horse Club and the
Kentucky Paint Horse Breeders Association.
“The Paint Horse industry has been wonderful to our family,” Dana says. “To
us, it’s full of the best people and the best horses in the business.”
